Bring EVERYONE. Even the people currently deployed. Sir Lucan is massively outgunned, and this is a mission to assist a relatively new tester. We will get only a very token reward if we win, but we are more likely to do so and have resources to fuck about a bit more. Around 1 credit worth of value, if that, but this is the only option where we will almost certainly be able to match strength for strength.
Bring the recommended amount of people, which is Gil plus about 50 credits worth of others. Rewards for victory will be worth about 2 credits total, though that can still mean some nice minor magic items or T1 or T2 companions. WHO we bring is a separate poll later, but 50 is enough to bring several of our heaviest hitters.
Bring 20 credits worth of backup. This is a nice balance of troops to reward. 5 credits worth of rewards, which is equal to one T3
Bring 10 credits worth of backup. This locks us out of our biggest hitters like Nessa and Rose, but also means we can score a solid 10 credits worth of rewards if we win. It won’t be easy but it’ll be possible. This is where our host is willing to offer his own strongest retinue members as our prize (allowing him to keep the bounty on victory)
5 credits or less. Gil will need to pull out all the stops to seriously contribute, but he’s allowed to bring as many tools, weapons, and magic items as he likes. Gil doesn’t like being the biggest piece on his own board, but this can get him 20 credits if he can swing it. This is where most of the invaders heaviest hitters could be plausibly poached if we DO win, though we will only be able to take 20 credits worth.
Gil alone, wearing only what he has on his back. 30 credits worth of rewards, but also Gil is clearly not taking this seriously.
