Comfortable but already pilling
This sleep mask is super comfortable and I thought I finally found what I was looking for. However, I've had it for just over 2 weeks and using it every night, and just today I noticed that the side that I've been using in the inside has begun to pill....somehow on the inside. (It is the end of winter so I am wearing it in the way it says to for cooler temps.) The underside of this fabric is catching on an inner fabric that feels a bit like pillow fibers. This photo is also after I was able to make it a little bit better by gently pulling to loosen the knots on the inside. I do not move around much when I sleep and this side is only touching my face, so I'm not sure how this has happened so much so quickly. So far I am not noticing this bumpy texture on my face, but if it's gotten like this in only two weeks, I'm sure it will get worse.I had high hopes for this mask and I hope it lasts at least a month before I need to try another brand.

November 2023: Eye Mask. Ok not your free gift from your airline but I had been using a couple of those over the last few months. This one is our next step up. I love this thing. It wraps my whole head and velcros in the back so I don't have a knot digging into the back of my head. ALL LIGHT IS BLOCKED OUT and it's cooling to the touch and I can hang it up in the morning with a loop. It's the best and all my family laughs at it but I don't care. I can get to sleep and leave the light on for my wife. With ear plugs that go UNDER the mask as it wraps around my head, my restful night is complete.

If you are a sleep mask snob like me, this is definitely the mask for you! I am very picky when it comes to sleep masks. There are a lot of variables that go into picking the right mask for me. It can't be too tight, too lose, too heavy, too light, too hot, too thin, too wide, etc. The brand of mask that I have been using for years has been discontinued and I've been searching for a replacement without any luck. I came across this one thought I'd give it a try. Last night was my first night wearing it, and I'm hooked. It was PERFECT! Even better than the one that I have been using for years. I will be ordering several more, that's for sure.

As a surprise added bonus, I have very long hair extensions that need to be braided before bed to keep from tangling and pulling while I sleep. Well because this mask goes around the entire head like a band, I no longer have to do that. They kept my extensions in place without any pulling and tangle free throughout the night.

This sleep mask definitely checks all the boxes and then some! I will never use another after trying this!

I've used other sleep masks before. All have failed to completely block out the light around my nose. Even my own homemade ones. This one blocks 100% of the light and i have a deviated septum. The material is really soft and gentle and it breathes so it keeps the face cool. Its adjustable so not too loose or too tight putting pressure on the sinus cavities or back of the head causing headaches. There's no uncomfortable lump at the back of the head either that I've gotten from other masks.
Update: its been 2 months since I bought this and the velcro is already wearing out. Its cheap velcro. a poor choice of materials for the velcro but otherwise its a good design

I bought this BLSSNZ black sleep mask for a couple of reasons. One is my spouse likes to read in bed and the light from his kindle is super annoying. The other is I have dry eyes and I was hoping that having the mask on might help with that. The mask is very soft and comfortable and does a really good job blocking ambient light without feeling you have something on. I used it when we visited a friend's apartment and had to sleep in the living room while some people were still up with the lights on, and I was so happy to have the mask so I could sleep. However, I do find that it manages to slide off pretty much every single night, so when I wake up in the morning it's around my neck or in the bed somewhere. And it doesn't help with the dry eye thing, at least not much. But it does its main function very well.

I’ve now been using this for a couple months. I’ve tried face masks before and have never liked them. My boyfriend likes the tv on to sleep, so I figured let’s find another one. The material on the inside of the mask is a silk cool material. Having the weight of the mask on my face makes me fall asleep so quick. There’s no digging into your head with this mask either. I use this mask now anytime I want to sleep!💤

It was really comfortable and helpful for a while, blocking out all vision and forcing my eyes to stay shut, but soon it wouldn't Velcro together anymore. I tried using the little straps at each end to tie around my ears to keep it on my head, but that became quite uncomfortable and I ended up tossing it out.

Very happy to start out, but needs some better material to keep it together. I admit that I am a person that moves around a lot in his sleep, so that might have had something to do with it. Disappointed that it's use became limited.

This sleep mask is amazing!! I have another sleep mask that has the stretchy skinny band and metal nose bridge that you can bend to fit and not let in light, but ....while it works great for it's intended use, I wanted a full wrap no wire nose piece sleep mask to help keep my ears covered when I wear ear plugs so I don't lose them in my sleep. I am loving no wire around the bridge of my nose as I found it too suffocating with my other sleep mask. This one is like night and day from my previously loved sleep mask. This one is soooo soft on the inside almost like a silk feeling. It feels cool to the touch when you first wear it. Doesn't move around much when fit properly. There is zero light filtering through the nose part when you get it figured out. Keeps my forehead warm on those chilly nights, but not enough to where it' feels uncomfortable. The velcro strap is strong and I have not noticed it being weak or not sticking properly, I usually lift it off my head not undoing it everytime I take it off. I can see if you have super long eyelashes and this pressing against them it may become uncomfortable. So take note if you have lash extensions, this may not be the mask for you. But other than that I find it perfect for my sleeping needs and no more worrying about losing my ear plugs and having that skinny band irritating behind my ears.

It’s easy to wash, just recommend putting it in a washing bag so the Velcro doesn’t pull at any of your other clothing in the wash.

I like the texture of the fabric, it’s a cute color, and it “does the job.” I’m not crazy about the Velcro fastener though. I’ve gotten my hair caught in the Velcro more than once, even though it’s stiffer which does prevent the pulling happening every single time.

I also like that it covers my ears for a little bit more sound dampening support.

I’ve tried a number of masks and this one doesn’t hit that top of my list, but it’s doing the job and I don’t get any peripheral light like some masks let in. I’m a person who sleeps on their back and on their side and this works well in both positions.
