Elderly Labrador
This harness is exactly what I needed for my elderly Labrador. Today, she is 14 years and 10 months. She has trouble getting up and down stairs and falls often. She wears this harness every single day and it is perfect for assisting her in getting up and also up and down stairs. I did not buy this to use as a lead, but for exactly what I am describing. She has always hated to wear anything AT ALL and this has not bothered her one bit. The durability of this harness is great. We have it almost a year and have had it on her for 6 months, at all time and there is very little wear and tear. If you are looking for something to help your dog with tender hips and issues with stairs, etc. I say 100% get this harness and don’t go for the over-the-shoulder carrier types or the ones that look like a log carrier. This is the only one you need!

Because of the adjustable straps that wrap around her belly and chest, she can't wiggle her way out because the buckles are iron clad. The fit isn't too tight but hugs her long shape perfectly.
Since she layed around the house with it on, I know that she finds it to be comfortable.
Also,the harness has reflective lights on it which are great for ppl who walk thier dogs at night.
Lastly, the color is pretty. It's more of a violet color than a blue.
Over-all this was a great buy. I highly recommend it.

Dachshund Friendly..She's Not Going Anywhere!

I have a dachshund- chihuahua mix who thinks that she's an american ninja warrior. Last week, she jumped out of her velcro/buckle harness & almost ran into the street. That scared the breath out of me. So,I hopped on Amazon to find a safety harness that could withstand ninja activities & accommodate her hotdog body.
