When rating how difficult something is on a scale from 1-10, what's your standard of measurement?

It's relative to things I've personally done. A 10 is one of the hardest things I've ever done.

It's based on how difficult I imagine something could possibly be. A 10 is the most difficult thing I can imagine.

It's based on how much effort it requires from me. A 10 means it takes nearly all of my ability or effort to complete.
