Who are we bringing to Camelot? The guy we are helping has 90 credits worth of retinue members, and the invader has 140. Gil is bringing 20 credits.

20: Bring Rose. It’s perfectly socially acceptable for a foreign dignitary to come along with his wife. They might have a few questions when she starts using dishonorable weapons like crossbows and just fighting in general, not to mention the general Sapphic awakening. She is also however, probably the Singel most well-rounded individual for Gil in his entire retinue. When it comes to general utility while still being good in a fight.

20: Bring Nessa. Are giant killer Playboy bunny is definitely the most dangerous individual in our entire retinue in optimal conditions. Optimal conditions, being wide open fields where she’s allowed to get as big as she wants. Outside of those conditions, she’s still pretty tough but if she has to fight indoors, she’s just a very large, physically fit woman with pretty tough armor

20: Victoria does not trust Gil yet. Not entirely. However, if she found herself in a situation where there were people that needed help and she couldn’t go home she would probably clean to him as the only familiar point of contact if you proceeded to spin her applause story she’d probably be willing to help him as long as his goals are generally benevolent. She’s almost as good as in a fight as Nessa and her best and her skill set is far more generally useful if Gil can convince her that he’s a good guy, despite technically kidnapping her to another dimension. She doesn’t need to know the kidnapping part.

10: Bring Garri. She doesn’t know much about chivalric romance, but he knows the super high level stuff and she is a pretty decent fighter.

10: Bring Candress. With firebending, she has become as good at fighting as Garri. This is a setting with at least some ambient magic.

10: Bring Keilnei. As long as he employees, his disguises Kane being a 7 1/2 foot tall woman won’t try that much unwanted attention beyond people thinking that she might be related to Giants. She is a pretty effective generalist with a little bit of healing magic, a little bit of offensive magic, a lot of skill with range weapons, and a solid talent at martial arts, but she’s probably on below and when it comes to tier 4 in raw power, her real value is the fact that guild generally trusts her judgment to operate semi independently.

5: Bring Ireena. Probably the most medieval adjacent girl we have when rose is too expensive.

5: Bring Boco. He will turn heads, but a black chocobo will give Gil absolutely peerless mobility in most medieval settings.

2: Bring Snow. She is easily the person in Gill’s retinue who will most easily fit into this environment based off of her baseline social assumptions just as long as we have her stay quiet about the whole sex maid thing. A combination of excellent luck hi charisma the abilities to talk to animals, and the ability to heal people with her tears will actually make her fit in perfectly well with the remarkably large number of enchantresses that can be found in the setting, most of whom aren’t even as magically, potent as Snow.

2: Bring Magwin. She is a distinctly below average warrior for a night elf however by the law basically every night elf has extensive military training and she was able to survive an owl bear attack on her hometown so put some respect on her name if we want cheap muscle she’s the best we’re gonna get.

2: Bring Cowlen. Night elf men are on average less physically fit, and combat capable than the women. Not even as much as the opposite is true in real life, but he’s distinctly less of a threat than his daughter. He’s a competent Fletcher though there’s that.

2: bring Silky she’s tougher than she looks and has gotten pretty good at but since that is a tool that is external to her she has so far not had her official ranking adjusted upwards so we can continue to use her as a pocket healer and fire dispenser who’s also a competent close quarters martial artist she’s not likely to do anything more impressive than stalemate an actual serious combat who’s not surprised at her competence, but she’s also really really capable of blending in seamlessly into this environment.

1: Bring Charlotte. I’m going to be level with you. This is probably only here in case we have an extra point to throw around somewhere. If we do, Charlotte is probably the least hopeless member of the retinue that is in the T1 Gulag.

1: Bring Blackpaw. I mean there is also this borderline feral wolf. He’s a lot better in a direct fight and you can keep him in a Poké ball. I’m not sure if this is the best use for a point, but he’s not strictly worse than Charlotte just slightly different use cases.

If we get our hands on useful character card, bring along Charlotte and use it on her. This might allow us to back door in a noticeably stronger member exploit.
