Where will we seek a cure for Flashbang? This is both a Flashbang specific question and a general “what’s the next arc” rolled into one.

The Queen’s Forest- Snow White’s mother is supposedly a powerful witch. The thing about witches is that they tend to have pretty wide and poorly defined skillsets that include healing more often than you might think.

Fair Barovia- powerful healing magic might be able to fix him up. Out of character, I the author can think of 3 characters and a magic item in Barovia that have the ability to fix brain damage without side effects and that number more than doubles if we embrace gothic horror tropes and get creative.

Azuremist Isle- Space goat wizards with lifespans measured in centuries are reasonably likely to have magic or technology capable of fixing this kind of thing. The real question is whether or not it’s available to be rented out. They did recently fall out of the sky just a few weeks ago.

Rim Elm - Find an Elixir or whatever the local equivalent is. Every goddamn JRPG has something like this, the small handy consumable that can fix you even if every bone and organ in your body are completely destroyed.

Brockton Bay- Go straight back.

A new World- Drop one of the worlds from our address book, never to return, and make another poll to see what new world Gil gets.

The Bazaar - you can buy anything there. But can you afford it?

Kidnap Flashbang. Gil is probably not getting permission, but if he comes back with him totally fine, all will be forgiven. Probably. Eventually. It’ll be a lot easier to find someone or something that can fix him than it will be to find a fix that Gil can realistically bring to Flashbang.

Swap Charlotte and Flashbang’s bodies with at least Charlotte’s permission, then take Flashbang’s body offworld for treatment while Flashbang-as-Charlotte goes home without powers and New Wave agrees to watch out for Charlotte’s family. Probably best to also explain it as essentially a timeshare so we can revert the swap whenever Gil needs to use the body swapper for something else.

The flashbang/charlotte swap, but also give Charlotte Azula’s powers so that Flashbang can be a chad firebender in the intervening time.

Stamp Flashbang, eating the short term loss of a binding charge so we can finish recruiting him by the end of the week. According to our mission log, we will get a refund on any bindings we use on members of New Wave if we commit and put them in charge.

Kidnap Flashbang then stamp him while he’s on the Skyblock, exploiting that the Skyblock has its own pool of capture charges.
