10: Mind Tempest Runes- have drastically more direct control over the minds of the retinue. Fucking with people is fun, but it could also make the ogre squad smart, for example. Vanessa votes for this one.

10: Martial Talent- Erich’s grasp of strategy is rudimentary and amateurish, and his skill with weapons other than the sword and torch is nearly nonexistent. Plus, being able to wield Archaeus himself has distinct appeal.

10: Covert Talent Sharing- with some (a lot of) effort the entire retinue could end up as skilled spies and infiltrators with shapeshifting abilities.

10: Soul talent sharing- helps the Draenei dragon plan get off the ground faster, and helps every member of the retinue get stronger by learning magic if they can dedicate a few days of work to it.

10: Instant capture- Moroes, the butler of Kharazan. He has nearly free run of the place and is himself a dangerous knife fighter. Likely to turn into a whole new side arc all on his own based around capturing the inhabitants of Kharazan and securing its treasures.

10: Instant Capture- Illiyana Moonblaze, swashbuckler quartermaster of the silvermoon sentinels. Grants us a fast track into the night elven military chain of command and an easy way to travel to Kalimdor.

10: Faerie Feast- become such an amazing cook that your food can induce lifelong cravings in a person. These cravings will eventually progress into junkie like addiction upon repeated meals, potentially edging out any other goals or motives they have.

10: Sweet Home- doubles the size of the pocket apartment and allows for spare rooms to be populated with appropriate furniture and equipment. Primary benefit would be creating a prison, in all likelihood, but it is a prerequisite to more exciting demiplane and dungeon upgrades.

15: Demiplane (requires Sweet Home): all jewelry equipped members of the retinue can create portals to and from Erich’s pocket home. These portals and the people in the process of using them are undetectable by normal senses. In addition, Erich gains the ability to create laws in his Demiplane which are magically punished. This is initially limited to punishing violence.

15: Dungeon (requires Sweet Home): Erich gains the ability to assign retinue members to a certain structure or his home dungeon semi-permanently, magically reinforcing the building and giving it certain additional magical functions. Initially the magical functions are limited to expansion, portals, and protecting the dungeon.

15: Don’t Stand So Close to Me- anyone that you enter into a mentorship/student relationship with (in either direction) will fall in love with you.

20: Hybrid Runes- allows Erich to splice certain species wide traits from one member of his retinue into any number of others. Traits such as troll regeneration, gnomish intellect, and dwarves ability to briefly turn into stone are all on the table.

20: Aggressive initiations- sexually dominating someone who is wearing a tempest jewel causes an acceleration of their capture. Typically between 1 and 6 hours per orgasm.

20: Alluring whisper- Erich’s voice becomes incredibly attractive to anyone who can hear it.

20: Love spot- Erich gains a beauty mark; anyone attracted to men who sees it will be instantly infatuated with him, as if he were the most physically attractive person they have ever seen.

20: Potpourri- Erich gains a highly refined sense of smell and control over his own scent. He can also sense what scents would impact the moods of those around him, and is supernaturally talented at manipulating people in this way.

20: Zenryoku Zenkai- Erich will automatically seduce anyone attractive who he defeats in any kind of contest. The effect starts out fairly mild, but grows stronger with high stakes, symmetry (for example, if he only healed during a battle he’d have the strongest effect on the enemy healer), decisive victory, lower numbers of people involved, and how much Erich is responsible for the win.

20: Science Talent- gain a supernatural ability to learn scientific principles, with a strong emphasis on application and use rather than development. Most likely to manifest in the form of arcane magic and using engineering gadgets.

20: Instant Capture of Sally Whitemane- she’s very powerful, very hot, has a leadership position with minions that obey her unquestioningly, and can teach Erich how to use the light more effectively, up to and including raising the dead

25: Jewels of Discord- tempest jewelry will actively work to disguise itself while it is being worn, blending into the outfit of the wearer, and identification spells will reveal only the information that will seem least suspicious unless they are already suspicious. Further, jewelry can be infused with magic that will draw the attention of any mission targets or individuals in the catalog who see it, compelling them to covet it and put it on.
