The fun of watching for me comes from the outside the box thinking to solve problems (like using traveling doctor in spiral) If the puzzle or domain is blocking your mail progress in the game then yes I'd say use the character. However if you are pulling out Lisa to solve a common chest puzzle instead of trying to pull an electro slime over to activate it or just leaving it be, I might as well be watching a normal run
I agree with Lynn, i tend to stop watching "weapon only" series when the guys starts cheating too much, Swordsonly from Java is so good cause he struggles and rly goes out of his way to find a way to make things work which is very entertaining
i think the second option ruins the main focus of this series, but the first option is needed for further progress.

So at 10:17 this morning AM time i'm in Canada...so UTC 5 tme...I was at 36 pity, and thought pfftt why not..i'll roll on the standard banner, just got a free feint/faint...so I rolled and guess what I got...no wrong..not even a character, I got the 5 star Primordial jade polearm..I know I KNOW ...yes the one whales spent big money on to get for Xaio...yes that one..I have a screenshot of it, since I sent it to my friends on instagram, because I still don't believe it...so..this only goes to prove..that you don't need to wish on the weapon banner EVER..you'll get it eventually on Standard/Permanent banner. Not sure where to post this, couldn't send you a message so it's going here..I got the Primordial Jade today...on the "Standard" Permanent Banner, at 10:17 am NA time or UTC 5 ..My standard wishes were at 36 , and I just got a free faint to I thought pfftt might as well use it..not gonna get anything anyway..not even close to soft pity....so I go..no fkn way (to myself) ...I even gave my OWN head a shake, because this is totally not something even on the list of "what you could get" if you got a 5 star...I mean I got 5 good 5 stars from this banner, the Wolfs gravestone and 5 star polearm, can't remember the name, but my zhongli used it until this morning...I had complained to hoyoverse on their last survey banner, on how I lost 5 50/50 in a row...long story, but ya...we all know how much that hurts, but it was on the character banners....I NEVER roll on the weapon banner EVER..I think I accidentally rolls 3 times on it.. So if you want to see a Screenshot of the Primordial Jade..I can send it to you...just thought I'd let you all know that something is amiss in hoyoverse!!!
