Lack of documentation

Modloader Split (Forge vs Fabric vs NeoForge, etc)

Minecraft version hopping

Lack of unique or experimental mods

Lack of configuration/configurability

CPU/GPU/Memory usage

Toxic mod/modding communities

Inability to move versions with modded worlds

Overly complex/unclear mechanics
