The Eastern Garter Snake has pulled off a major upset, defeating the defending champion, the Turtles of rare, in a squeaker of a match in Round 2. After defeating the 2022 Final Four contender the Spring Peeper in Round 1, the Garter Snake has ensured that a newcomer will represent the reptiles, amphibians and fish in this year's Final Four.
But not so fast! Facing the garter snake is the Gray Tree Frog, fresh from its victories against the Four-toed Salamander and the Rainbow Darter. It's small and its cute, and lots of people like an underdog.
