Who Should Move on to the Championship?

by James Bow · 1 year ago
After thirty matches, we have pared our 34 species down to the Final Four, and the first of these semi-finals begins now! The Red Fox (Vulpes vulpes) fended off a spirited challenge by the Eastern Small-Footed Myotis and has returned to the Final Four for the first time after winning it all in 2022. The Red Fox has been a perennially popular creature, and it stands a good chance of winning it all again this year. But facing it is the fierce Osprey (Pandion haliactus), who toppled previous Final Four entrants the Cedar Waxwing and the Great Horned Owl and now demands its due. It's fast, it's acrobatic, and it accomplishes some tremendous kills as it dives for fish to eat. Both these species will be joining our line-up for when you give the Gift of Nature at rare (https://raresites.org/donate/), but there can be only one winner. Cast your ballots now! The loser gets sent to the consolation final, while the winner goes on to fight for the championship!
