Ps5 all the way, ps4/Xbox controllers are too small for me, I end up getting sore hands from prolonged use of those controllers, with the ps5 I find the controller running out of juice first.

I love the ps5 controller. I have below average hand size so the symmetrical sticks are a must for me to feel comfortable playing. That said I also prefer the skinier grips to the rounded shape of the ps4 controller. As far as the haptic triggers go i have to turn them off for most games (but at least I have that option) because they are just pointless in fast paced shooters. The heft of the ps5 controller can be a bit tiresome though with the haptic feedback adding some weight. However, it still weighs less than the xbox controller because you don't need AA batteries to make it work (thank God) and the battery charges as fast as it depletes with a 15ft charging cable still coming in cheaper than a single pack of batteries at 12USD from bestbuy officially branded.

I'm a woman with hands that are larger than the average woman's but smaller than the average man's. I also have severe genetic early-onset arthritis including in my hands. I've stopped playing my Xbox Series X completely because the controller wing grips are too wide and cause my hands to hurt in less than an hour. The PS5 controller has a narrower wing grip and allows me to play indefinitely without a lot of pain, so it's a no-brainer for me. Sad because I haven't been able to play Starfield, but it is what it is. I've repurchased all the games I enjoyed playing on the Xbox for PS5. Fortunately there are more PS5 exclusives (Horizon, Uncharted) that I enjoy than Xbox exclusives.
