    Hi Jeff, I know a lot of bowlers are set against mixed gender leagues, however the newly formed Huddersfield winter league shows how well it can work. In my opinion mixed leagues are the modern way forward. Open to all to enjoy at all ability levels.

    I'm not saying it's the be all and end all of saving the Huddersfield league but it's a worth a try..the league is in decline regards number of teams and number of players..we are a sport where a whole family can play together..
