Dismissal of the Central Committee and the Security Council

In accordance with our promises, the fates of the current Central Committee and Security Council is up for debate by the Citizenry's Collective votes. We believe that our executive overrule was a necessary use of our powers, and that such powers are necessary at times, to ensure effective rule in times of potential crisis. We believed the loss of contact was in fact a sign of such a crisis approaching. The revelation of these civilizations' existences is proof of that, although many may claim that due to their inability to breach the galactic void, that this is in fact a falsehood. Regardless, our fates are in your hands. Option 1: Dismiss the Central Committee and Security Council, and in doing so, a new Central Committee and Security Council will replace the old, one that is perhaps more lenient to the will of the citizens; but whose inexperience and fear of dismissal may lead to an inability to make the proper calls quickly enough. Option 2: Keep the Central Committee and Security Council, and in doing so, keep those that have been working on the current 'crisis' for a few decades now, with much more experience under their belts. But perhaps will be more inclined to overrule the public will of the citizens in times they deem to be 'crises'. Option 3: Abstain.
