Yes, it would prevent the issue with mod power armors from showing up in the power armor crafting station to be modded or repaired from ever happening.

No, AWKCR is a framework. Forcing users to ever experience non-vanilla gameplay features is unacceptable. Why would we even care about that issue, we don't use mod power armors, they're not vanilla.
