Rule 63: because of course we will turn him into a woman. The transition will happen fully only when Lo’Gosh becomes relevant, but it’s likely that Erich would get her to start being a girl part time asap.

Dumb Muscle: he probably can’t be trusted to make snap decisions, but he’s very good at hitting things with his sword. Put him on standby as essentially a “combat summon” available to anyone in the retinue if they are in danger or expect to get into a fight soon.

Stiff upper lip: try to give Varian a bit more of a spine; based on the comics he’s capable of committing to things if someone important to him is on the line, so getting him to see everyone in the retinue, or at least Erich, as his beloved companions might be enough.

Strategist: he’s a great tactician and strategist, trained from birth in strategy. Set up some kind of war room for him and let him make military plans in a low stress environment, which Erich can then look over or someone like Irma or Doris can implement.

Puppet: keep him on as king long term; he’s easily manipulated and has the right face. Maybe send out people to capture or deter Lo’Gosh and his companions before they show up in Stormwind; all three of them are potentially really valuable.
