Kathra’Natir is an ancient and powerful demon with a diverse skillset including infiltration, sowing discord, being an annoyance to the Guardians of Tirisfal, and several forms of magic. Being a power booster for the elf equivalent of a teenage girl is beneath him.

Have him stay in Valeera’s head long enough to mentor her in all those things, then swap him to his own body

Pull him out of Valeera’s head, but look into the process of making demon hunters. Stress Defense, Corruption Defense, and friendly demons combine to make it seem pretty plausible a path to powerful front line soldiers
