Talking to My Daughter About the Economy by Yanis Varoufakis - This is a 200 page exploration of political economy by a marxian former Greek finance minister who got his PhD at an orthodox econ department (Essex). Many ratsphere people lean neoliberal or libertarian, so we’d benefit from discussing a (hopefully) clear counter case by an author who’s knowledgeable about our worldview.
