- It would be good for all to see the results of vote live as it happens please its more transparent!

Ideally- anyone level 1 or up can nominate, to get to the "nomination board" you need 5 nominations, at least one of those has to be from a level 2 or higher. First gate, but still plenty accessible for newbies and to make level ones contribute to the process. once on the nomination board, every period (avg amount of time for a sponsorship to finish) we vote on who actually SHOULD get sponsored. level 3s and up can vote. weighted votes, level 3 gets 3, 4 gets 4, 5 gets 5. this gives us a prioritized order. once the list is decided, sponsors are free to pick from the list (from any position on the list? maybe the prioritization is just a community vote suggestion, to make it so that a group cannot gatekeep) The sponsorship level should be lowered to 4, and even add a dual sponsorship (logistically I have no clue how this would work) from two level 3s. Hard to say exactly what is perfect, as I am sure we all know. However all levels need to play a part, and we have to find a balance between simplicity of understanding, and enough layers to create barriers. a balance of making it not too easy, but not too gatekeepy. a protection against outsiders whom want to harm the project against a friendliness to noobs and letting anyone in.
