no it was never said in either version idk where someone read it where it says it happened.

yes it did said so, but it was nothing serious at all just simple hunting for food for victor and trying meat before from a random place but no killing evolved so don't worry about it

yes it did but it was probably/ it's in a different edition to the story so depending on the edition you don't have to worry about it
